2010 SENECA VALLEY NOVICE TOURNAMENT

Location: Seneca Valley Middle School (in 2 adjacent gyms) • 122 Seneca School Road • Harmony, PA 16037

Directions: Please check www.svwrestling.com and click “Directions” in right column for how to get to Main Campus. Directions are different this year coming north bound because of Hartmann Bridge closed for construction.

Weigh In: Friday, January 29th 6:00PM – 8:00PM and Sunday, January 31st 7:00AM – 8:15AM

Start Time: 9:00 AM

ENTRY FEE: $20.00 (No Refunds)


Registration: Pre-Registration – Entry must be postmarked by 1/25/10.
Absolutely no walk ins will be accepted on the day of the tournament.
On-Line Entry – closes Friday, January 29th @ 8:00am
Limited to first 300 wrestlers Walk-ins accepted at weigh in on FRIDAY ONLY for $25.00

Eligibility: Age as of January 31, 2010. Proof will be required if age is challenged.

Tournament is ONLY open to wrestlers in their 1st or 2nd year (no wrestling experience before Sept. 2008)

Rules: PIAA Modified Flat Weight Skin Checks performed at Weigh In Double Elimination Double entries permitted in different Age Divisions (two fees required) Tournament Director reserves the right to combine weight classes Referees and Tournament Director’s decisions are final Must wrestle to receive award Silent Tournament and wrestlers will wrestle on the same mat all day.

Awards: Individual Trophies awarded to 1st through 4th places, CHAMPION T-Shirt for 1st Place

Admission: Adults $4.00, Students $2.00 (children under 6 years of ages – FREE) Concessions: Refreshments will be available all day – BREAKFAST will be served starting at 7:00AM
